Mooncakes With A Heart! #YellowRibbonIndustries #SecondChances #CWLCares Our 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival celebration comes with an extra touch of warmth this year! In support of prison inmates learning employable skills under Yellow Ribbon Industries, our Management presented every staff with a box of mooncakes which makes it an extra meaningful gift for everyone. Adorned in gold on the mooncake box is an adaptation of an inmate-artist painting, titled ‘Unadulterated Lotus’. Akin to the lotus which symbolizes hope and purity, the inmate-bakers believe they can emerge from a dark past and lead a purposeful life through self-determination, support and love. We’re happy to contribute to #Second Chances through this CSR support. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival from all of us at CWL! |

Visit to Firetronics’ Showroom & ‘Live’ Demo of Inert Gas Fire Suppression System Our sincere thanks to Firetronics (S) Pte Ltd for hosting a group of 20 CWL employees on 15 September 2023 at their office building in Woodlands. All participants benefitted greatly from the in-depth knowledge sharing by Firetronics’ team of engineers on the new developments and products available in the fire protection market, and were able to tap on their expertise through the Q&A and mingling session that followed after the corporate presentation. What made the showroom visit even more memorable was the ‘live’ demonstration of the NN 100 fire suppression system in one of their labs, where our staff experienced first-hand, with a fire torch lighted on the spot, how fast and effective Nitrogen works as a fire extinguishing agent. We look forward to organizing more of such workshops where CWL staff can learn, bond and network with industry partners together.
